DJ
A much younger Roxem always wanted to learn to DJ, but that required turntables growing up in the 90’s – 00’s. In 2010, his sisters boyfriend brought over a DJ controller and Roxem finally saw an affordable way to learn how to mix music. Since then, he has played at local LA venues like The Airliner, Los Globos, and local bars in Manhattan + Hermosa Beach. In 2015, Roxem purchased his first pair of speakers and began mobile DJing at backyard boogies, private and underground events.

Beat maker
Roxem started working on beats in 2012. He had a conversation with a friend that told him “you have to produce your own music to be a touring DJ”. He wasn’t able to teach Roxem, but he was able to get inspired enough to learn on his own through Youtube academy. Roxem started with Ableton Live and in 2018, he became an Avid Certified User in Pro Tools. Roxem makes various genres of music specializing in hip-hop, house, and breaks.
Bboy
Roxem was invited to learn how to bboy by his friend and crew member, Tech, during his junior year in high school (2005). They learned by watching the only “How to Break Dance” Youtube video by Bboy Venum and practiced in his other crew members, Main One’s living room. Soon after, the Tenfold Crew was created.
